1968' MG MGC C Gt

1968 MGC GT (chrome bumpers and manual overdrive gearbox)
Finished in old English white with black leather trim.
This British example of the iconic 1960s car, was lightly restored about 12 years ago but is largely original. There have been 3 former careful keepers (one of these was a Doctor) and the car has covered a warranted 57000 miles in almost 50 years and is road tax exempt. The mileage is backed up by previous MoTs and documentation. The car has formed part of a car collection since the early 90s and has recently been recommissioned and just the paintwork needs a little tlc.
Only around 8000 MGCs were built and only 4000 were GTs with approx half of these going to the USA. Consequently, there are very few around making this a rare and desirable model. Although similar in appearance to the MGB the MGC is very different both mechanically and structurally in order to accommodate the 3 litre 6 cylinder engine and running gear, perfect for long distance touring.
The history folder includes current and previous V5s, previous MoTs and current MoT until Aug 2018, MoT related paperwork, invoices, MGC Owners Handbook, Club booklet, DVLA information, old road tax discs, old disc holders, business cards, old bill of sale, insurance documentation, valuation and condition certificates, MG Car Club information, correspondence, MGC GT document holder, MoT document holder.
