1977' MG Midget Mg Midget 1500

This car was the recipient of a 3 year fully documented (with photos) comprehensive restoration which included the fitting of a Spitfire overdrive and gearbox and was published in the MG Owner Magazine approx 26 years ago.

The engine was completely re-built, fully lightened and balanced with electronic ignition, an up-rated cylinder head, a re-profiled Kent camshaft and new SU carburetors, fuel pump, oil cooler etc and from then on until now has only done 21,820mls. In overdrive it will cruise effortless at 60mph (50mph at 2,500rpm and is completely reliable.

Suspension was all fully re-built and poly bushed with Spax adjustable shockers on rear, new brakes and cross drilled and vented disks. I have had the car for almost 3 years and in that time have completely re- Waxoyled the whole car and it is completely rust free. Also fitted a new battery, CD radio, hidden cockpit lighting etc. Tyres as new including spare, jack, and will come serviced. New M.O.T. expiry date 12/08/17.
Included with the car is a hood cover, tonau cover and made to measure interior car cover.
