The Mercedes-Benz W196R Silver Arrow Juan Manuel Fangio drove to victory at the 1955 Dutch Grand Prix. It will be displayed at the automaker's exhibition at ModaMiami in Florida.

Fangio was an Argentinean racing driver considered among the best in Formula 1, along with renowned names from his time like Jim Clark and Jackie Stewart. He won five World Drivers' Championships (WDC) with Mercedes, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Ferrari - two of which were secured for the Silver Arrow brand (1954 and 1955).

Last year, Fangio was inducted into the 2023 Automotive Hall Of Fame with GM CEO Mary Barra, Honda co-founder Takeo Fujisawa, and more.

With that said, the W196R should be a treat to Mercedes fans and avid enthusiasts of F1, touted as the pinnacle of motorsports.

The W196R is so iconic that it remains the most expensive F1 car sold at auction at $29.6 million, topping seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher's F2003-GA sold for $14.87 million. Even the title for the priciest modern F1 car sold still belongs to Mercedes as the 2013 Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 W04 Hamilton drove fetched $18.8 million.

If that's not enough, the world's most expensive car is a Mercedes, particularly the 300 SLR 'Uhlenhaut Coupe,' which sold for a whopping $142 million - the price of over 50 Mercedes-AMG One hypercars.

Not to be sidetracked, the Fangio's well-kept F1 car came with a 2.5-liter eight-cylinder engine capable of churning out between 256 and 290 horsepower and reaching a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). It will be arriving in Miami from its long-term home at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Germany.

The W196R will be joined at the exhibition by five 300 SL Gullwings and two 300 SL Roadsters, including a 540 K Special Roadster - which won the 2023 Pebble Beach Best in Show award. One of the 300 SL Roadsters is Fangio's personal car given to him by the manufacturer after he retired from racing.

Don't miss these amazing Mercedes cars at the ModaMiami, starting the leap day on February 29 until March 3.
