Fully restored Alvis Speed 25, 3571cc Six cylinder,chassis number 14678, engine 15130. one of the very last cars to leave the factory.
Fully restored and with coachwork by Trevor Hirst Restoration & Coachwork in 1994 identical to the Cross and Ellis design which was In period manufactured by Charlesworth after Cross and Ellis ceased trading.The ash frame is made to the original design, all the panels and wings are hand formed in aluminium by craftsmen who were trained by the original masters of this skilled art. Therefore this car is guaranteed to have no rot in the ash frame or any corrosion whatsoever In the beautiful aluminium panel work .
This car was stored for many years before the restoration was started again and completed during 2015.
All mechanical parts reconditioned including engine, servo assisted brakes, gearbox. Recent new tyres, Photographic record of the restoration and large history file. Search trevor hirst restoration for more photos.
