: Austin Healey BN1/ 154432, built 7th April 1954 first registered 15 April 1954, a RHD Home Market car.
An older restoration which was documented in the July 1991 of Supercar & Classics, there`s a copy of the article in the cars extensive history file. The rebuild included new wings, door skins and complete floors. A colour change from its original Carmine Red to black finished the rebuild, incidentally the re-trim in cream is correct for a black car.
Comes with a substantial file of bills and invoices of work covered up to date including the Heritage Certificate.
An older restoration that still presents well and always draws admiring remarks. Matching numbers car, with a lovely patina, currently being used as our regular driver. Stainless exhaust, recent new fuel tank and uprated starter motor.
Performance wise it holds its own very well, the Dennis Welch aluminium head, a considerable cost upgrade, ensures a comfortable cruising speed.
A new tonneau has recently been fitted plus the car is complete with a serviceable hood and side screens.
