Commentaires du vendeur sur 1926' Ford

With its ultra-wide stance carrying just the right incline and some massive rubber on display in back, this 1926 Ford T-Bucket is a guaranteed head turner. It sits on a venerably authentic 26 chassis and offers an unusually solid driving experience for its next lucky owner, courtesy of a nicely configured suspension and a drivetrain thats operating in top form. The purple shade clad over the exterior of this streetrod is bound to seem a little familiar - its the same color worn by legions of Mopar muscle cars over the years and is a great fit in this setting, looking nice and solid and showing no issues from front to back. The fiberglass tub encircling the cockpit gives this vintage roadster an outstanding power to weight ratio and remains in good shape, with no stress cracks in sight and a pair of doors that are surrounded by tight, even gaps. Owing to its signature bucket-style design, the mid-20s era front suspension components are in full view and make a nice showing here, as theyre smooth as can be and are nicely painted. Factor in the pair of downward facing sidepipes extending out of the open engine compartment, the Model-T era radiator housing up front and the huge tires in back and you have the very essence of what Norm Grabowski - the founding father of the T-bucket niche - had in mind when he fashioned the first one, featured in the classic series, 77 Sunset Strip. Climb inside the open-air cockpit and youll notice right away just how spacious the interior is. Even a large person could ease into the bench seat and get comfortable as they grab ahold of the featured GT Grant steering wheel and floor shifter while preparing for adventure. The white vinyl bench seat is well padded and shows no tearing as it sits above contrasting black carpet thats in outright great shape - it was likely very recently added. On the purple steel of the dash area, a quintet of white faced Dolphin gauges have been seamlessly installed and are functioning just as intended to keep tabs on vital motoring functions. In back, youll find a sturdy-looking fuel cell sitting alongside the battery, securely fastened to the floor of the rear compartment. The powerplant on display in the open engine compartment is a 318 cu V8 - another nod to classic MoPar lore. It wears a 4-barrel Holley carb on top of an Edelbrock intake manifold and is really running strong, sending a nice, deep note out of the long tube headers leading to those signature sidepipes. This streetrod features a solid driving experience thats pretty hard to come by in its niche - its 3-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and the 9 rear end is equipped with both coilovers to eliminate chatter and binding around corners, as well as traction bars to help ensure the power hits the pavement as efficiently as possible. Vintage Cragar wheels, 14 in front and a pair of 15 in back that feature huge 31x16.5x15 tires, complete the look of this vintage Ford in just the right fashion, while front disc brakes give it fade-resistant stopping power that comes in handy during more spirited driving. Take a glance below and youll find that its authentic chassis is in very solid condition and from this perspective you can also see that this classic hasnt been unintentionally run aground during its years of service. A well-configured exterior featuring plenty of curb appeal combines with smooth running power and a comfortable, spacious interior to make this 1926 Ford T-Bucket a must-see. Call today!
