*Rare coachbuilt model built for a London judge *Many special features *Reportedly body removed for chassis restoration – photographic restoration record
Offered by a trade vendor this 'flatnose' was built specifically for a judge on the London circuit in 1927 and that the purpose-built bodywork was designed to allow the occupant to wear his full robes to the courts. The bodywork has been raised for increased headroom, the axle widened and rear wings feature indents so the doors afforded easier access, our vendor says. Reportedly the bodywork was removed to allow the chassis to be restored and the body was re-painted in blue and black while the interior was restored to a very high standard and features a sliding roof. Interior woodwork was re-furbished and the glass upgraded to laminate type. Offered with a good history file, this highly unusual Morris is ready to enjoy.
A very special offering with an interesting past that, the vendor says, includes many special features including high and opening roof line. The engine is said to have been refurbished. Trade vendor.
