This vehicle has been in my ownership since 1980. Once i finished university i took it off the road for a number of years for restoration. The car had no serious rust problems to begin with,and all panels were original.Repairs to metalwork was done with original Alfa parts sourced from Alfa Romeo Germany (receipts available).Vehicle was subsequently resprayed and rustproofing applied by wax injection into box sections ,underside,and doors.
Engine rebuild was done in 1992,gearbox was rebuilt and fitted with new seals and synchros.
Other work included fitment of new clutch,clutch slave and master cylider,new brake lines,reconditioned brake servo unit and new master cylinder,new uni joint and centre bearing on prop shaft,new interior carpet,new door seals,new clutch and brake pedal seal and frame (they are floor mounted on RHD versions).
Since the rebuild was completed back in 1992 the car has travelled less than 2000 miles,1911 miles to be exact!.
The car has seen very little use,..maybe once a month i take it out for a good run.It's not perfect- it could do with another good respray.
The price includes all the spare parts pictured-and many other bits and pieces not pictured.
