Before I start my description I must say the burgundy colour is not as bright as it appears in the pics , it is somewhat darker . [The camera sometimes lies!!!!!] For sale is my beautiful 1948 Austin 16 , superb burgundy body with equally as good black wings . No rust at all on the body and excellent underneath .
The interior headcloth and carpets have been replaced while the leather seats are in super original condition and the car is fitted with
picnic tables in the back of the front seats seats .Unusual for an Austin 16
The engine , gearbox , back axle steering and suspension all work just as they should with no bangs or clunks .The engine does not overheat and there is no blue smoke from the exhaust .
The brakes work extremely well for a car of this type and age.
This is a beautiful car , ready to go and more than hold its own in any classic car line up and I know that anyone who comes to view the car will not be disappointed .
ITS A BEAUTY not cheap but a bargain at £8500 when compared to whats on offer at this sort of price elsewhere. Any inspection welcome . Probably one of the best on sale and well under the price of some others advertised
