1969' Austin 1800 Mk2

Reluctantly up for sale is my Austin 1800 Mk2. I purchased this car with the intention of restoring it with my father but unfortunately I am no longer in a position to do so, I am looking for somebody that wishes to put this car back on the road.

Good parts;

- Extensive service history going all the way back to 1973.
- Engine (when running) is perfect and sounds excellent.
- Hydrolastic suspension piping has recently been replaced and pumped up.
- Front and rear rubber window seals and trims recently replaced.
- All 4 weather seals on the windows have been replaced.
- Complete wire brush and rust protection on the inside has been done.
- Majority of the chrome on the body and inside of the car is spotless.
- All electrics work (minus the interior/boot light.)
- 96,703 miles.

Bad parts;

- Brake master cylinder needs replacing.
- Clutch plate is currently stuck, but was perfectly fine before the winter.
- Some paint wear from the weather cover on the boot (can be T-cutted out, and I will include a tin of T-cut.)
- Parcel shelf cover has deformed from old age.
- Engine last started in December of 2016 (ran perfectly fine then, but now refuses to start.)
- No battery (please bring one with you if you wish to test the electrics.)
- N/S/F wing and front valence have rust and may need replacing.
- Radiator holds water but leaks under pressure.
- Boot floor has an O/S rust hole that runs the length of the boot which will need to be cut out and a plate welding in.
- A couple small rust holes on the N/S/F floor underneath the soundproofing.

I'll be throwing in all the parts I have from the car including a set of white/yellow plates, seatbelts, new rear windscreen trim, radiator bracket etc.
