1955' Austin A30 2 Door

Austin A30 2 door saloon for light renovation.
1955 saloon model with the small curved rear window.

Includes the original sales invoice to Alfred Haley Esq. on 18th March 1955 from Austin distributor WH Hyde Ltd. The invoice lists it being supplied with extras such as: painting of the underneath of wings and body with ‘Rubbaseal’ and a heater. Mr Haley owned it until the late 1970’s whereupon it lived in Liskeard, until I purchased it last summer. It also comes with some old mot’s from the 1970’s / 80’s.

The last MOT in the file was from 1983 when it had 46,036m on the clock. It currently shows 63,609m. The V5C states 4 previous owners however; I think it has had just two main owners. V5C present. Original registration number. No current MOT.

The bodyshell is in generally good condition but does need localised repairs. The doors, boot lid and bonnet are in good condition. A previous owner has removed the driver’s side front wing and therefore this is loose fitted at present. The colour is Tweed Grey with a red interior.

This a great light work project with some nice history. Located in North Dorset. It will not drive away! Cleared payment will be required prior to it leaving here.
