Up for sale now in our Houston Showroom is this sweet 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. The 1955 Bel Air was 3,456 lb (1,568 kg) and 15 ft (4.6 m) long. It was called the "Hot One" in GM's advertising campaign. Chevrolet's styling was crisp, clean and incorporated a Ferrari-inspired grille. In 1957 engine displacement grew to 283 cu in (4,640 cc) with the "Super Turbo Fire V8" option producing 283 hp (211 kW) with the help of continuous (closed loop) mechanical fuel injection. This Bel Air has its original 283 CID V8 that was rebuilt 6,000 miles ago. It is paired to a 2-speed power glide transmission that was also rebuilt at the same time as the engine. The exterior has a recent beautiful turquoise paint job that looks amazing with the white painted roof and brushed metal trim on the sides. Looking at the interior you will find a new multicolor vinyl seats, carpet, & door panels that really pull the look of the car together.
