You are viewing a beautiful SS Chevelle by Chevrolet that has lived most of its life in California. Other than 1 year in Rochester it has been in Christchurch for the last 8 years. This car is solid and has had the frame and undercarriage sandblasted. It is a 12 bolt posi rear end with a 342 ratio. It is running a pro street cam and has a 3" flowmaster exhaust system installed. It is running a factory original 396 big block engine.
I have replaced:
petrol tank with fuel sending unit
radiator with overflow bottle
suspension
starter motor
water pump
headliner
new stereo system
carpets
Glovebox
Centre console lid
Original GM Parts used where possible
I have tinted the windows down slightly and added well installed cut off valves for a bit of extra fun. It comes with original SS wheels but I have also included an immaculate set of 20" Foose Legend chrome mags.
The car has had virtually everything done to make it a strong daily runner and really only needs a few minor things done such as a little bit of rust taken out and a few things done in the interior to make it a truly exceptional car. The paint job is good but could be redone if you really want to impress. A classic car valuer has stated that this car would be worth over $90K if the paint job and a few other minor things were carried out.
This car has been shown at various events and has also featured in newspapers.
