Requiring completion of a major restoration is this wonderful old 1926 Dodge Brothers 5 window 2 seat car.
Usually designated a Business or Opera coupe. All the major mechanical work has been done whilst the body was off the chassis, with engine, transmission, brakes, cooling system,exhaust, steering and suspension completed. The wheels have been rebuilt and finished with 5 new tyres and tubes. The body is solid as a rock but needs new running boards (simple,flat wooden rubber covered), roof covering (padded vynil type), some glass (flat laminated), rewire (basic system) and a good paint job. The seat has been retrimmed in leather but new door cards and headlining are needed. All the bits are there, and all in all it's a very straightforward restoration, which will produce a very rare (in the UK) and delightful, useable vintage car. The engine is a 3.5 litre four cylinder unit with 3 speed and reverse gearbox, renowned for their robust and reliable build.
