Not replica in my opinion. This doesn’t just look like the the real thing, it drives and smells like it too.
I’ll be completely honest and admit I’m not an expert. So I may not be able to answer technical questions regarding what nuts and bolts were used (I get asked some strange questions). What I am is someone who loves the look, etc of these cars, for reasons personal to me. I looked for one for many years. This came up and I had to have it.
Having started life as an escort popular 1.3, it was transformed in 2012. I was informed this was a costly & precise build. For me it was everything I was looking for. Sure enthusiasts could argue but to me it looks identical to real thing.

Tax and MOT exempt.
1.6 burton xflow engine (I can’t confirm this but it’s what I was told when I bought it and is what it’s insured as). Sure someone with the knowledge would know just looking at it.

As I’ve said, I’m not massively knowledgeable about the mechanics and will not have mentioned the half of the actual set up. Oh, bias adjustable brakes, etc.. It runs great, sounds incredible, starts fine and I’ve had to do nothing other than replace the starter motor and service (twice a year) in the time I’ve had her (3 years).
The condition is fantastic. You would have to come and have a look to really appreciate it. It’s not perfect but is unreal bearing in mind it’s 43! Seats are like new. Hopefully the pictures will do it justice.
The attention this car gets is almost too much. I’ve only taken it to one show and I was mobbed. People love this thing and so do I.
I’m Looking for a Sierra cosworth 4x4 so would be willing to part ex/swap for the right car.
