The chassis number 7E57C101384 of this 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible was assembled at the Mahwah plant in New Jersey. The bodywork finished in Wimbledon white shows visible rust on the left front bumper and minor corrosion around the metal trim of the convertible roof. The 289 V8 engine is equipped with a fully rebuilt Autolite carburettor installed in October 2024, whilst the water pump was replaced in 2023. The cylinder head cover gaskets and oil pan were serviced between 2020 and 2021 with a new drain hose. The rear crankshaft seal was changed during the same period. The three-speed automatic transmission has received new copper lines since 2020. The power steering uses a new box installed between 2020 and 2021, complemented by a new steering arm and new anti-roll bars. The front springs were also replaced during this same period. The electrical system was upgraded in 2022 to ensure correct operation of all signals and lights, with the installation of a new spiral cable. The interior trim in dark blue vinyl on medium blue underwent a complete restoration in 2010 using parts from Dearborn Classics. The convertible roof and rear glass window were installed the same year. The dashboard features a new clock since 2022. The odometer reads 47, 160 miles. The car has been garaged and belonged to the family since the 1980s before being passed on in 2009.
