The restoration is extensively documented with many photographs. The car was painstakingly rebuilt from the ground up, always with a focus on refurbishing original parts. All work was carried out by a specialist workshop that focuses on the restoration of Jaguar E-Types. Over €40, 000 has been invested in acquiring all missing parts or those that could no longer be saved. All invoices for every newly purchased part are available, as are all invoices from specialist workshops (complete engine rebuild, paintwork, etc.). Countless hours of labour have gone into the car to renew it comprehensively. When the restoration was completed in December 2025, we had to wait for better weather to bed in the engine. So far, the E-Type has been driven gently for around 500 km in good weather since spring this year. A German H-registration with a new MOT is in place. Furthermore, several technical improvements have been fitted during the restoration, such as a fully rebuilt gearbox from the 4. 2-litre version of the first-series E-Type, for silent gear changes. A thermostatically controlled auxiliary fan has also been fitted. The steering wheel has a slightly smaller diameter so that larger drivers can sit comfortably. A stainless steel manifold combined with a "Big Bore" exhaust system has also been fitted. This has a slightly larger diameter and therefore improves exhaust gas flow. In addition, a high-performance starter motor and a high-output alternator have been installed. This sought-after first-series E-Type is ready to go for its next outing.
