This stunning XK140 will be in the Bonhams Auction at the Goodwood Revival on Saturday 9 September, lot number 247.

One of only 738 original RHD fixed head cars ever produced with fully matching numbers, the car has undergone a total “nut and bolt” restoration to Concours standard. Finished in Jaguar Caviar (deep metallic red) with a walnut dashboard and biscuit interior this XK140 is now on the road in unrivalled condition as a true Clayton Classic. This XK is unusual in that we invested far more in its restoration than its current market value. We built the car as a way to showcase the standard of our work, and have successfully demonstrated it at events over the last 2 years where it has picked up many accolades and positive comments. Its now time for us to find it a good home and we have reflected this in its price.
It is rare for an XK140 to be restored to this level of quality and detail, the car now looks, presents and drives superbly and would be equally suitable for shows or long distance touring.
