1973' Maserati Bora

Have you noticed how all Bora’s advertised are low mileage?
This one could very well be actually with a speedometer showing 31500 km!
Despite the very nice original condition of the leather seats,
and despite the very little wear on the brake and clutch pedals pads
that seem congruent with this mileage, we will not make
a strong statement about it as we can’t prove it!
However, even though the car was running and driving very well
when purchased by the current owner (that we are representing)
four years ago, he decided to undergo a full restoration with the idea
to make it perfectly reliable, not touching all that was nicely preserved!
No expense was spared!
Main elements that were fully restored or replaced: engine and all what is around / suspension / brakes / A/C system / entire hydraulic system / quicksilver stainless steel exhaust (a piece of art in itself) / 5 new XWX Michelin tires.
Absolutely everything works on the car with the A/C blowing ice cold, all hydraulic accessories functioning smoothly, electric windows going up at normal pace (plastic pinions replace by bronze ones) and the clock (restored also) ticking as it should!
The body was almost entirely rust-free with perfect alignments to start with,
and the car was naturally repainted in its original “rame metallizzato” (cooper)
that along with the “Senape” (Tan) leather interior brings in our opinion the best of the
beautiful giugiaro style of the BORA
The underneath of the car looks as good as the outside!

Original owner’s manual / tools
The owner has driven this Maserati less than 1000 km since the restoration, and just had all necessary adjustments made, including retightening of the heads, and so now the car is ready to be fully enjoyed!
We didn’t rev up the car over 3500 rpm as the engine is not broken in yet, but
It is already very impressive to feel all the torque.
The 4,7 liter BORA is considered by the purist to be THE bora to own as their engines
are more reliable than the 4,9Liters.
This BORA will be exhibited at Rétromobile in Paris from the 7th to the 11th of February on the booth of OE BOCHE AUTO who restored the car
