Comentários do vendedor sobre 1969' Mercedes-Benz Sl Class
- Rare, 4-seat California Pagoda with hardtop- Comprehensively restored by a master craftsman- German registration with H-plate (historic vehicle)- Attractive colour combination- Valuation certificate rating 2+Vehicle History:The so-called "California Pagoda" features no soft top and no convertible top frame. Instead, it came standard with a rear emergency bench seat and a hardtop. This special version has nothing to do with the US state of California, nor is it an export model. It was an optional extra that was first offered in February 1967 with price list no. 18 for the 250 and 280 SL. This version had been studied beforehand and presented to the Mercedes-Benz board on 03. 09. 1965. It was designed to fulfil the frequent customer request for a 2-seat coupé with 2 additional emergency seats. Many California Pagodas were purchased as second or third vehicles at the time and consequently driven sparingly. A high proportion are therefore in exceptionally good condition today. This beautiful Pagoda was imported back to Germany from the USA in 2012. The current owner, an experienced Mercedes-Benz master technician and enthusiast, restored the vehicle for himself and spared no expense or effort. In 2013, he registered the beautiful Pagoda in his name and enjoyed 13 wonderful years with it. Today, the vehicle is available to its new owner in very good maintenance and condition.
