The car has been described as follows, in previous advertisement for the car, prior to my purchase. I have tried to clarify and combine all the facts and figures from some of the advert's known to me as follows:- This car is a total restoration from the chassis-up, with new hubs, rebuilt brakes, suspension, steering and radiator. A professionally restored engine with Phoenix counter-balanced crankshaft, matching rods, Cosworth pistons, lightened flywheel and close ratio gearbox. The 939cc engine has been reported to produce 60bhp and runs at the correct oil pressure and temperatures. It is fitted with the optional water pump and uses waterless coolant. In addition the car has a new ash frame body, deluxe birds eye maple veneer dashboard with all the correct gauges, switches, dash lamps, petrol reserve system, 30mph warning light and working Trafficators ! The panel work and full leather interior is by Collingburn. The new double-duck roof, full & half tonneau covers and full set of side-screens are all included. Pre-War aero screens are also fitted together with 4.50 x 19 Blockley tyres. The car was reported to have been nicely 'run-in' at 2000 miles since the rebuild and is ready for all UK or European events. The paintwork is spotless. The car is in superb condition. I am willing to consider a more modern sports car in part exchange for my car. Preferably automatic but not essential, and fully restored. Either a 2016 Year Porsche Boxster S, MG BGT V8; MGR V8(Not Green); or pre 1967 Austin Cooper S.
