CAR DESCRIPTION

Morgan have been hand building the 4/4 for 80 years.

Still hand built in England at the famous Pickersleigh Road factory, the Morgan 4/4 is the longest running production car in the world.

Morgan’s first proper road car was the 4-4 as released in 1936. It initially used a Coventry Climax 4-cylinder engine and was the first Morgan to have 4 wheels. Even with just 36 bhp available, the model was used in competition including the 24 Hours of Le Mans and many Rallies of the period.

The key to any good investment is to be selective. Some Morgans have done really well at auction in recent years and with the caveat of rarity and condition, the 4/4 is amongst the best investment Malvern Moggie you could buy. It's that rarity that makes this car such a good investment now. One can expect to pay upwards of £60,000 for one of these on the international markets, so at NZD55K fully restored, WOF’d and Registered, consider it a gift.
