Ownership history:
This car was manufactured for use by the UK military forces in Greece. Once the war was over it was sold through a government auction program to its 1st owner, a lady private collector. Its 2nd owner sold it to its current owner back in 1995.

2007-2019:
engine: valve head job, starter rebuilt, (plastic) fan & belts replaced, alternator fitted, air filter replaced, battery replaced,
steering and suspension: overhauled, new tires fitted,
interior: temperature gauge replaced, driver’s side window lever replaced, new wiper arms fitted.

Condition
Body:
Panels: All panels appear to be the original ones. All but the engine hood’s and passenger door’s gaps are correct. The engine hood appears to have been repaired at one point. Its left rear edge touches the left firewall forcing the hood to the right when closed. The passenger door’s rear gap is uneven due to average paint preparation. The corresponding door jam and latch are perfectly correct suggesting there was never any accident. Nevertheless the front underside, the anterior aspects of the front wheel wells, the front bumper supports and front left grille suggest there was an older fender-bender repaired. The low speed impact affected the left bumper support more than the right one and did not extend further inwards. The left bumper still needs some alignment and the anterior front right wheel well some TLC.

Paint: The paint is surprisingly brilliant all around. The rear right quarter panel is only slightly dull and not as smooth. Other than a few touch-ups, there are no marks or scratches anywhere.

Chrome: Due to its military specifications the only chromed parts were the emblems on the hood and trunk which are still in excellent condition. The left grille and the left welded front bumper suggest the low speed impact repair previously mentioned. All other parts have the expected yet minimal weathering.

Glass: All glass is original to the car and largely unmarked. The windshield needs some buffing to remove the minor wiper scratches. It is quite surprising that all seals are original to the car.

Underside: The underside of this car is absolutely stunning. It has been preserved exceptionally well and has no rust, no repairs and no alterations whatsoever. From its condition one can rest assured this car was never subject to any side or heavy collision. The steering appears recently overhauled with new bushings fitted.

Engine:
The engine bay has been re-sprayed. Other than some minor stains, there are no oil or coolant leaks. All hoses appear relatively fresh and intact. The radiator needs some alignment. There are minor battery fluid stains but no erosion or rust on the floor or its surroundings. Transmission brackets are well-preserved and greased suggesting care in the car’s maintenance.

Interior:
The interior is in great condition. The original roof-liner and instrument lighting are wonderful features. The trim and carpeting are unmarked and in need of nothing. The radio, 3 knobs and the temperature gauge are not original to the car.

Maintenance
The car is checked, lubricated and fired up on a regular basis. It is used for exhibitions and local drives.
