1964' Volvo P1800 S

Iconic stylish and stunning early Swedish built Volvo P1800, same model as recently featured on Channel 4 "Car SOS" Episode 3 as below


This car is chassis number 8449, making it one of the earlier Swedish built cars, with correct 1.8 engine twin carb engine, four speed manual with working overdrive and retains all the fabulous features of the earlier Jensen built models, like the cow horn bumpers, long chrome hockey stick side mouldings, twin shelf dash with its aluminium pattern inserts, beautiful Smiths dials (all working on this car which is rare), original carpets, luggage straps on the rear shelf and quirky early seat belt fastening loop.

In excellent order throughout with shiny red paint, good chrome, original grille and nice interior, MOT to 5 April 2018.

Mileage is recorded as 27701 so it is safe to assume its on its second lap, but well maintained these notoriously strong engines will go on forever.

The car is not concourse like the SOS car,it's not £40k either but is in very good order throughout, much admired and running well with many photographs of an earlier restoration, together with old invoices and MOT's etc. Please call for more details or email initially if you prefer.
