1967' Triumph T20

1967 Triumph T20 Tiger Cub

Genuine Garage clearance, The bike has been stored / not used / and is covered in dust.

BSA Triumph merged = later cubs fitted with Bantam frames. Green frame is Bantam. Earlier cub frame crossbar (seat to headstock) join headstock quite low & visible under tank (as per the pics). I.e.earlier cub frame fitted.
Early cub tank underside almost flat (shallow radius running it's length to clear the crossbar tube). Tank is stressed member /brace between top headstock & seat. Bantam crossbar sits higher on headstock, requires larger tank underside recess. Smaller Oil/ side panels = earlier cub. Fins on the barrel look round = early cub, should be square looking profile. Headlight nacelle also wrong = chrome headlight with Speedo inset. Rear mudguard cut short as well! I'd suspect that the engine was transplanted from a 67 cub & placed in an earlier rolling chassis. As a professional MC dealer, I suspect you already know most of this. Hope It helps

No attempt has been made to try and start the bike, the bike is purely sold as a lockdown project, things like the battery will need replacing / fuel system will need cleaning out thoroughly and the bike in general will need to be gone through in all running aspects before any attempt to use on the road, we have the DVLA V5c logbook + keys,

If you do not have the skills to work on then this is probably not a bike for you but if you do have the simple skills then this is a worthwhile project.
