1959' Jaguar Xk150
This XK has a full and fascinating history and a low mileage. a matching numbers UK RHD supplied by Henleys of London for personal export in November 1959 to Mr A K Malcolm.
He took the Jaguar to Uganda for 2 years where he was working, and kept a detailed notebook, for everything that was carried out to his XK right up until he sold the car in 1975.
The book has been retained with the XK and details its various service works carried out at the Jaguar Browns Lane factory, where she was on display for two years 1969 to 1971 in the entrance hall Jaguar showroom.
The Jaguar has resided in the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland and has various plate changes all are detailed in a thick history file along with 29 past mot certificates.
Importantly the XK has more recently been reunited with its original registration plate 3317 DU
Finished in its original colour of Pearl Grey with Red leather the car looks simply stunning, and the engine bay is immaculate in every respect.
XK Engineering fitted a new speedo in September 2000 when the XK has covered 32,583 miles athe new speedo now shows 12,004 miles, so she has covered a mere 46,587 miles from new, this is all fully documented.
In 2012 the Jaguar was stripped to bare metal and repainted in Pearl Grey and retrimed in red leather together with new carpets and fresh headlining
In all invoices show that £43,448 have been spent on her since 2010, with Ken Bell, Guy Salmon, Paul Cox and Turrino Wheels, who powder coated the wire wheels and fitted 5 new tyres in 2014.
She also has a stainless steel exhaust system, and a cooling fan together with a stainless steel header tank so she takes heavy traffic in her stride.
There is a new mot running to July 2021, and she is part of my collection sadly I am only selling due to a new unexpected house purchase.
