1979 Mercedes 450 SELOriginal German deliveryOnly 107, 826 kmABSAutomatic climate controlOriginal service bookletThis Mercedes 450 SEL in Cypress Green Metallic was purchased new in April 1979 at the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Würzburg by a German-American entrepreneur.Mr Joa of Curt G. Joa Inc. spent most of the year at his company headquarters in Wisconsin and only drove the W116 during his approximately quarterly stays in Germany. The rest of the time the car was stored in excellent condition in a garage in Volkach.The original service booklet was meticulously maintained and documents the low original mileage to this day.The first owner kept his 450 SEL well into the 2000s. At one point he had it re-registered from Volkach to Andernach. Only after his death was the car sold on.In 2010 the previous owners acquired the S-Class and continued its maintenance in exemplary fashion.The Mercedes was cavity-sealed from the factory and was conserved a second time a few years ago.Beyond its fantastic condition and state of preservation, our W116 impresses with its comprehensive optional equipment.
