Комментарии продавца про 1934' MG Mg Pa Pa

PA0786 was acquired by Andrew Bradshaw in 2002 in barn find condition, largely complete and original, including the engine block which was changed by the factory in September 1934 after only 5 month use; this engine block is still in the car. She is number 250 in the MGCC Triple-M register as an early addition to this historic record.

We understand that Mr Bradshaw undertook an extensive restoration of PA0786, which included retaining the ash frame which must have been changed to a two seat version at some point in its distant history. Having been stored for some time there were obviously several components either missing or needing replacement. These items were sourced from the excellent MG Triple-M specialist’s network. Items included an original Abingdon dashboard; this specifically is understood to have its own story to tell, and includes a supercharger boost gauge. It is the care and ambition to build a fast and reliable sporting example of this P-Type which has succeeded no doubt, and she is a credit to a renowned Triple-M doyen within The Register. The engine utilised the original crank and rods, all tested and balanced, the block was opened up to 939cc fitted with new pistons to suit, the same displacement you would find in the later PB. Additionally a Bayton Jones sports/racing cam-shaft was installed. The car was finished with cycle wings in place of the original swept versions, which in this case were from a K’ series and subsequently significantly lighter in weight. The V5 and registration was claimed from the DVLA and once finished the car was enjoyed in Cambridge as a reliable summer runaround with occasional MGCC sprint and social events for fun.

More recently fitted with new front springs and brand new S&V stub axles, the original dynamo being rebuild by a specialist and an electric radiator fan fitted to accommodate with modern traffic conditions.
In the owner’s words; ‘MG3294 is no show pony’, but is a presentable and useable car, coach painted in black and finished ox-blood leather which was completed recently using aged hides, which have a lovely lustre. There is full professionally custom made weather equipment including hood, side screens and two tonneau covers…. A custom made light weight aluminium bonnet has been fitted, however the original has been retained and included in the sale.

Acquired by the current owner in 2014, “MG 3294” really has been an integral part of the whole family; from summer road use around her home town of Warwick and a social rally in Europe to multiple appearances at pre-war Prescott. Thoroughly enjoyed as much in the hands of the next generation (the “MG sisters”) as Dad competing in Triple M register and VSCC meetings. Our client and his PA have been a familiar part of the Triple M grids gaining much success with class wins and twice (and current) MGCC Don Moore Trophy holder, as well as a regular at local natters and the active MG social scene.

MG3294 is now offered for sale to create space for latest Triple M family member. A covered trailer with side awning, is also available by separate negotiation.
