This well known two owner from new TC cafe racer is offered for sale by the Executors of the late Llwyd Williams who lovingly restored the car from 2001-04. The car was completely rebuilt over many months with the engine being re-built by renown engine builder George Edney, bored to 1350cc with a new crankshaft, camshaft, timing gears, distributor, clutch, unleaded head etc. It was built with the plan to fit the supercharger at a later date.
The back axel was fitted with stronger tapered half shafts and modified oil seals from Roger Furneaux. Brake cylinders, hoses linings and seals were all replaced, plus much more.
The restored body work was painted in Plum and Custard to complete the restoration process by mid 2004. The car then completed runs to Classic Le Mans, Pendine dash (many times) and the Circuit des Ardennes twice. The car was regularly seen at MG Live.
This car is well known in MG circles and was used regularly with great spirit and enthusiasm, a good home is now sought for its continued enjoyment. Some spares are available with the car, including wheels and tyres.
