Seller's comments about 1973' Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0
Compared to major competitors such as MG and Fiat, the Alfa Romeo Spider was the choice of more discerning connoisseurs when an open, 2-seater sports car was on their wish list in the 1960s and 1970s. The well-known "Nord" aluminum engine with double overhead camshafts, 2 twin carburetors, 5-speed gearbox, also made of aluminum, and disc brakes on all 4 wheels were standard features on this model. In 1971, a powerful 2-liter engine with 129 HP appeared, larger brakes and a 20% locking differential on the rear axle. The competition couldn't match these advantages. The sharp-tailed 2 Series exudes classic Italian style and elegance, and there's generally plenty of dolce vita in every driving journey.
