Seller's comments about 1962' Austin Van
My much loved Austin A35 van is up for sale, reluctantly. I am moving to Scotland and there isn't a place for my beloved Austin 'Ernie' up north. I bought the van when I was 21 and have meticulously gone over the van from top to bottom to bring it up to scratch.
Preventative bodywork undertaken and resprayed 2019 into British Railways 'Blood & Custard', colour matched to original swatches (I used to work on the railways). Stainless steel custom exhaust, new tyres, powder coated rims, MG Midget front discs (it stops!) and rear axle/ diff. 1098cc engine, head gasket replaced 2020, hardened head, new plugs, leads & coil.
Looking to see it off to a good home!
