Seller's comments about 1976' Bentley T Series

I often remark “I grew up on the back seat of one of these” but really I should say I grew up on the back seat of many of these. Such was my fathers inclination towards T series Bentleys a new one was there to pick us up every weekend - unavoidably I have the same biasAs a usable and affordable classic car a good example Bentley T is perhaps the best option there isThe choice phrase though being ‘a good example’. Happily 623 UJO is ‘a good example’ in every sense Firstly she is totally original and I am much more a proponent of the virtues offered by a well maintained original car than those of a restored example - they’re only original once and Bentley made them extraordinarily well at the time!Still in her factory specification of Moorland Green over Tan she presents extremely well having recently benefitted from a full 2 stage machine coach polish and ceramic coating, the brightwork is also near perfect whilst the interior - featuring the optional contrasting top roll, rear headrests, lambswool over rugs, rear vanity mirrors & factory Hollandia sunroof - is brilliantly well preserved having never been connolised All her features and functions are also working perfectly central locking to all doors and boot, all windows from all switches, dash lights & interior lights, aerial with one push of the switch, A/ C blows Icelandicly cold etc etc etc. There is nothing I would say that needs addressing here for she is truly on the button The most recent owner had inertia reel rear seat belts fitted as well as a modern stereo unit with bluetooth connectivity. Whilst also ensuring servicing has been kept up to date at all times, accompanying invoices within the very good history folder of courseSome recent work included new front brakes, new engine mounts, rebuilt carbs in additional to normal engine servicing She is therefore up there as one the best driving T’s I’ve had the pleasure of operating Being a 1976 example she does benefit from updated T2 underpinning as well as the more attractive flared wheel arches whilst maintaining the early T1 front a rear valance with the much prettier chrome bumpers. A sweet spot of the production run, and a very rare one too with only 65-85 UK RHD cars leaving the factory like this (depends on which book you read)Overall then a humdinger!
