First registered on April 18, 1979 in Sheffield. Two owners from new with full BMWSH up until 25, 000 miles before in went to Southern Ireland in 2013. Two more owners in Southern Ireland until November, 2018. when I bought it back to UK with 41, 000 miles recorded. The car still retains it's original number plate. Car is nearly all original, except for replacement of the Solex carburettor with Weber conversion, usual service bits and other replacement parts where necessary as the car was stored so needed a small amount of recommissioning. The car was fully Dinitrol rustproofed in 2021. Paint is original and still shines brightly, chromework is good and interior shows no sign of wear. All door gaps etc. are excellent, body nice and straight so this is a reallnice example of the iconic sharknose design. There are only 8 registered on the road with 9 on SORN. Bad points but nothing major. Radio/ cassette player has never worked; tiny dink in rear bumper; slight discolouring of headlining around rear window due to condensation while stored and torch in glovebox does not work. No more timewasters or tyre kickers please.
