ATTENTION:
the item in question was imported from the United States in 2001, partially restored (including bodywork, varnish, roof sheathing, upholstery), although paradoxically, due to considerable internal competition, the restaurant was never brought to a proper end, nor was it registered. Currently, after many years, it shows some deficiencies (e.g. water pump, carburetor, coil, servo, water collector), paint damage, traces of corrosion.
Due to its age and body type, however, it is an important part of our family collection of American vehicles (mainly Cadillacs).
If the restaurant is completed, it will be technically completed, undergo a technical review, will be entered into the provincial register / Register of Monuments and registered (YELLOW BOARDS), thus it will be EXEMPTED FROM PERIODIC TECHNICAL INSPECTIONS. ("indefinite" technical examination period), will acquire PERIODIC INSURANCE (e.g. from April to October) with a statutory discount of 70% and the "gates" of all urban AREA ZONES will open wide!
Not only that... if some misfortune happened later on the road, e.g. someone carelessly drove into this gem, in the case of YELLOW PLATES there will be no problems on the part of the insurer of the incident with regard to EFFECTIVE PAYMENT OF FAIR COMPENSATION. Apparently, no insurer would allow a possible civil dispute or unjustified protraction of the case, as is commonly the case with "white boards".
On the other hand, in the case of a possible subsequent intention to sell the vehicle abroad, it is also possible, but in the case of:
- voivodship register of monuments: the Voivodeship Conservator of Monuments should be notified of this fact within 30 days from the date of sale;
- Register of Monuments: it is necessary to apply for an individual consent of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in advance for this purpose
(information from the Provincial Office for the Protection of Monuments in Wrocław).
Investment values:
currently on the American market, this model, depending on the condition, is at the following prices [latest Hagerty data (2022); the largest insurer of "classics" in the United States; see one of the photos]:

2/ excellent: USD 106,000,
3/ good: USD 76,900,
4/ fair: USD 49,500.
Not to mention the whole costly, time-consuming and uncomfortable procedure of bringing the car to Europe.
