This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is pure old-school cruiser fun. The forward-tilt front end, coordinated velour interior, four-on-the-floor, and well-built small block power are all about street machine style. And the affordable price means you can personalize this custom even more. Bright blue and classic chrome make a first-year Tri-Five Bel Air look attractive. And it gets better as the details are pure street machine cool. You see it in the side exit exhaust, billet-style grille, blue-dot tail lights, and American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels with an extra meaty rear set for an awesome stance. And of course, theres the hood. The power dome style is borrowed from an L88 Corvette, and the forward-tilt style of this lightweight fiberglass setup has us feeling a touch of Two-Lane Blacktop nostalgia. And this custom hot rod style is where the heart of this cars appeal is. You will find details inside and out that you may want to change, but you also know that a perfect 55 Bel Air commands a higher price. And so this is the icon that you drive, enjoy, and embrace the custom spirit. You can even add your own personal touches, too. The interior continues the old-school custom style. For example, the front bench seat is gone, and in its place are two contoured bucket seats with a vintage velour with white piping combo. The rear seats and side panels were done to match, too. Its all quite comfortable, especially from the drivers seat. You have cool upgrades like the wood-trimmed steering wheel, under-dash auxiliary readouts, a column-mounted tach, and a Hurst T-handle shifter. The full forward-tilt hood put the full engine bay on display. So they took the time to make it look extra special. Details like the radiator frame and brake booster were painted blue to match the firewall. And there are quality upgrades like the HEI distributor, steel braided lines, and an aluminum radiator. At the center is a tidy Chevy 283 cubic-inch V8 (the largest displacement of the Tri-Five era.) Its built for added pep with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and a cool-looking set of custom headers that exit like a gasser. You also have desirable power car features like a four-speed manual transmission, power brakes, and rear traction bars. This full package makes for a cool rumble and old-school street machine fun, but what we like is that nothing here is overpowering. Its more about taking the custom classic style that you would see in the 1960s-70s and making sure its just nice to enjoy on todays streets. This is the custom cruiser thats fun right now and great to imagine what youll do with it tomorrow. Call today!!!
