This authentic 1968 Chevelle SS with a real 138 VIN code is a fully custom-built Pro Touring masterpiece. With no expense spared, this vehicle features a host of bespoke components and high-performance upgrades.
The Car: The Chevelle has been meticulously rebuilt from the ground up. The base car was completely stripped to its bare metal and is an original SS model (VIN code 138), not a clone. The body, floors, and chassis are rust-free and in original condition. The car boasts a new heavy-duty 12-bolt rear axle with fresh internals, axles, bearings, and a differential with 3. 73 gears. It features an advanced Speed Tech Performance suspension system, including tubular front A-arms and a rear ladder bar setup with dual adjustable QA1 shocks.
The underside of the car was blasted to bare metal and painted in a factory-style satin black, ensuring a pristine appearance. The braking system includes four-wheel slotted and vented disc brakes by Wilwood, along with new brake lines, a master cylinder, and wheel bearings.
