Ford’s new twin 4 barrel race package and the much more common 1957setups led Ford Teams to win more races in 1956 and 1957 than any otherautomobile manufacturer. It is a fact that just over 100 of these 1956 racepackages were built in order to qualify as race packages, and only 50 wereinstalled in factory cars.
