Seller's comments about 1973' Ford Mustang

This 1973 Ford Mustang convertible is quite a significant piece of pony car history. But we bet all you were really thinking about was the cool triple-black style and V8 power. It all means that this classic Ford has both style and substance. This was the last year for the first-generation Mustang. They would go an entire generation without another convertible, and no other pony car would ever be as long/grand as this one. So these have a unique place on the classic car scene where they have the intimidating size of a muscle car and the cool cruiser appeal of a drop-top. Its a unique position that looks great when present in all black. This only gets better when the upgraded color is part of a more recent and professional application. This extra-sleek black shows off the well-fitting sheet metal to showcase how these longer Mustangs had plenty of extra space to create the iconic long hood and short raised rear design. And black is also imposing... especially when paired with the large chin spoiler, color-matched front bumper, polished dual exhaust tips, a full-width rear spoiler, and Mag 500 wheels on raised white-letter BFG tires. The well-fitting soft top powers down to reveal the full black interior. And the paint, roof, and inside all come together for an awesome triple-black upgrade. It has the clean look of a quality classic. Even the vintage details are nice, including the smooth wood-like trim in the doors and the under-dash lights that greet you when the big doors open. Plus, the high-back front bucket seats, an armrest center console, and upgraded sports steering wheel all have the right feeling to engage the driver. Under the hood is a hardy 351 cubic-inch V8. This is a build with a four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. So you know it wouldnt take much to unleash the full power potential of this mighty Windsor motor. However, right now we like it for its easy cruising nature. Because while triple-black is great for the wow factory, its also nice not to wake the neighborhood when coming back from those late-night summer top-down drives. And this one was really built to cruise thanks to everyday easy features like power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a three-speed automatic transmission. This is the final-year first-gen convertible that has a terrific sense of style and cruiser attitude. Call today!!!
