Seller's comments about 1962' Jaguar E-Type
When Jaguar unveiled its E-Type at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1961, nobody had any information about the British brand's future GT, and also why the E-Type lineup completely captivated the crowd. Its lines make it a collector's item. Salvador Dali said: "She is as beautiful as a woman" Basically, the E-Type is the worthy descendant of the D-Type, three times victorious in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It has an architecture quite similar to the D-Type, namely: a monocoque rear bodywork, at the front a tubular structure that supports the wheels, engine and gearbox. Our model is a 1962 series I, therefore the first generation, it comes with a 3.8L engine of 265 horsepower, a 5-speed gearbox was installed, it is in very good condition.
