Jaguar Mk2 1964, 3. 4 manual with o/ d, carmen red, no p. a. s.
A great looking car in regular use and a reliable pleasure to drive. Rare in that the body shell is rust-free and unwelded, spent most of its life in New Zealand..
MOT February, no advisories.
Originally exported to Archibalds, Christchurch, New Zealand (Heritage Certificate), reimported 2015. Professionally wax injected and coated, certificate and USB with photos. Bodyshell is rustfree, paint shows a little fading and is polished thin in places but waxes up well. Chrome is sound with some pitting and fading but also polishes up well. Interior is intact with good wood and headlining, seats are worn with some cracks but no tears or holes, carpets are good.
Mechanically excellent, starts well, handles well, plenty of smooth power with good overdrive operation, stops well . Good oil pressure, doesn't overheat, doesn't smoke, no oil leaks
In last couple of years: rebuilt cylinder head new brake and clutch master cylinders new brake servo new fuel pump alternator conversion (Dynamator retaining original appearance) electronic ignition new battery Blockley tyres, a good choice, transformed the steering and handling LED bulbs period style DAB radio, works very well
