Original unrestored care for restoration / recommissioning.
Sat since 1970's, a true 'barn find' in very original condition, untouched, unmodified and unmolested.
Copy of original buff logbook as per photos detailing the provenance, the details are correct for this vehicle, which, in this condition is a rare find.
The chassis needs repairs to the rear cross member and the sections under the seat box, it has the correct fish tails on the front.
The bulhead is poor, but with the panels available it would repair for originality or for an simpler fix it could be replaced.
The engine is the correct 1600 with the original details and ancillaries along with the rest of the running gear.
The body is very straight, passenger door is there, just removed for ease of access in storage. The body has been given a wipe over with an oily rag to reveal its condition.
Original number is on the car with the paperwork as shown. The original front grill is missing, the steering box fitted has a casting broken but has a replacment with it.
A straightforward restoration with such an original base vehicle.
