Seller's comments about 1941' Lincoln Zephyr

This 1941 Lincoln Zephyr has a custom roadster style, and the V12 has even been enhanced to make it an even more fun cruiser. Its the kind of distinction for those who like to drive something special and always have something to show off under the hood. The Lincolns of this era had a graceful style, and this one knows how to show it off. The black seams of the fenders are distinct against the white paint to help highlight the long and flowing lines. This one has been customized to be a roadster, and so the door tops were rounded where the side glass once was and the decorative rear boot rests basically rests flush. It gives this one an added sleekness that goes well with the smooth factory features like the twin waterfall grilles. The was likely done 20+ years ago, but it was also in possession of Universal Studios in California for some time. So it has the right style for an easy cruiser and even some cool history. And you have all the right vintage details, like whitewall tires, rear fender skirts, a large trunk, and covered spare continental kit on the rear. Because this one stays open to the world, its nice to have a stylish maroon interior. Plush seats, good carpeting, custom door panels, and a smooth dash give this an attractive style. And Lincoln of this era gives you plenty of legroom to let people stretch out in both rows. So this makes for a great cruise to bring everyone along. Theres even an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo hidden in the glovebox. The engine bay shows off a true hot rod Lincoln. The classic 292 cubic-inch V12 is already a terrific motor for fun cruising, and this one takes it up a notch. Were told it was given a top-end rebuild about 1k miles ago. And we can certainly see nice upgrades like a triple-deuce carburetor setup and Austin aluminum heads. Plus, there are also the right supporting upgrades for a solid cruiser, like a 12-volt system, an alternator, and an aluminum radiator. Out on the road, you get that true classic car feeling, but updates like the newer exhaust and a power brake booster keep it feeling nice. And the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission even features manual overdrive. This is a unique way to have a true cruising custom roadster. So if you like driving distinction, call today!
