The Lloyd LP 400 was presented for the first time on January 30, 1953 by the Lloyd Motor Works in Bremen, which belonged to the Borgward Group, as the successor to the Lloyd 300 built between 1950 and 1952. The 300 model still consisted of a body made of wooden skeletons with planking made of plywood panels and deep-drawn sheet metal parts, which were covered with imitation leather. The first successor models LP 400 were also constructed in this way. In the course of the facelift, the LP 400 did not get a stable all-steel body until November 1954. The LP 400 was available as a sedan, station wagon and extremely rare convertible sedan. This offer is one such example.

The vehicle, which has an original Austrian type certificate from 1955, is in very nice condition. The car can be imported duty and tax-free into all countries of the European Union. A Europe-wide delivery by our forwarder who specializes in historical classics can be arranged on request!

This particularly rare vehicle can be viewed at any time by making an appointment by telephone at one of the two telephone numbers under the "Show number" link.
