The car comes from a small, private collection of vintage cars and has been in the possession of the current owner for 8 years. The car was imported to Poland in 2014 from Switzerland, from the canton of Ticino. The last service inspection in Switzerland was performed in 2009 at 165,200 km.
After bringing the car to Poland, a full body and paint repair was carried out by the previous owner. The works were made in accordance with art and using professional preparations from Novol.
During 8 years of operation, many repairs were made, such as disassembly and sealing of the engine, replacement of suspension elements, repair of the injection system, air conditioning, cooling system, door closing pneumatics, replacement of the muffler and many, many others. All work was documented and performed in a specialist company that deals with Mercedes classics. The car is currently in very good condition. He participated in many rallies, exhibitions and rallies of vintage cars in Poland and Germany.
The car is fully original and has several interesting solutions rarely found in this model. These include, among others:
1. Manual air conditioning that works and has been converted to a modern cooling system based on the R134a refrigerant,
