Seller's comments about 1964' MG MGB

A superb example of an original matching numbers home market RHD “early pull door handle” MGB Roadster. Finished in the original colour combination of Tartan Red with Black Leather piped Red. A massively comprehensive supporting history file accompanies with 43 service and maintenance invoices over 32 years and MOTs running back over the same period. A believed genuine 44000 miles from new with just 3 owners in 61 years. The original green log book accompanies showing the car still to be on its original East Sussex registration. The handbook and original sales brochure are also present. A thorough restoration was carried out in 1993 with photographs on file. The car remained with the 1st owner for just under 30 years until July 1994. Supplied by Sporting Cars of Brighton to the 2nd owner, with purchase invoice present, who kept and thoroughly maintained the car under Robin Lackford Engineering for the next 26 years only parting with it in April 2020. The 3rd local owner kept the car serviced under the experienced hands of Edward Labinjoh, a well known engineer operating in Edinburgh for many decades. The car comes with its original hood, rear tonneau and full tonneau. An outstandingly genuine example which drives superbly, operating with a light clutch, precise steering and excellent brakes.
