Seller's comments about 1978' MG Mgb V8

MGB V8 roadster 5 speed manual, first registered on the 1st August 1978. Finished in Gunmetal Grey with Red leather, complimented by 15" chrome wire wheels and Red mohair hood. This car has been completely rebuilt over the past seven years. Fitted with a Rover 3. 5 V8 engine which was rebuilt circa 2, 000 miles ago. Fitted with the LT77 5 speed gearbox, along with the correct V8 rear axle. To bring this car to a safe stop the brakes have been uprated with Clive Wheatley 4 pot callipers and crossed drilled discs to the front. Suspension has been poly bushed throughout and Gaz telescopic shock absorbers are fitted to the rear. The exhaust system is stainless steel throughout with tubular four branch manifolds and twin exit tail pipes, the fuel tank is alloy and was custom made to allow for the twin exit tail pipes. Wheels are MGC 15" chrome wires, fitted with excellent Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres, the spare has never been on the car. The car runs a Holly 4 barrel carb with an Edelbrock performance manifold and air filter, ignition is electronic. The interior is superb having being extensively trimmed in leather including the door cards, seats, centre arm rest and dash roll top. Final touches of quality were added to the cabin, headrests have the MG logo embossed upon them, matching Red seat belts have been fitted along with a matching wind deflector. The carpets are quality wool carpets and have been extended to the lower portion of the door cards. All the correct V8 gauges are fitted and as a small nod to modernity a Sat-Nav has been installed. The V5 is present and showing only 2 previous keepers the last keeper as previously mentioned owned the car for Seven years. A very special MGB V8 Roadster indeed. This MG really stands out in Gun Metal Grey Metallic with contrasting Red trim and is complimented by superb chrome and RV8 bonnet.
This is a quality conversion with no expense spared. Oh and did I mention that fantastic V8 soundtrack !
