1964' MG TA

Here for sale is my lovely 1964 MG 1100 MOT and tax exempt however has got MOT through till March 2022 to prove current roadworthiness.... this car comes complete with a host of past MOT certificates which would suggest the mileage could quite possibly be correct. Very solid body with gleaming Tartan red exterior (this colour really does suit the car). I have a the original bill of sale for the car showing it to be a De-Luxe model MG 1100 at a total cost of £750. 14 after the added extras of wing mirrors were requested by the first owner. The car was bought from Victory Garage in Hereford who was at the time an Austin/ Morris main dealer agent. I also have a heritage certificate that shows the Dove Grey leather upholstery to be original equipment which again is in lovely condition with no splits, tears or damage visible. The moment you open the doors you are greeted with that lovely old car smell!! Headlining and carpets are in good order with some new made to measure overmats. Also with the car are old logbooks from previous owners, a selection of bills for parts bought together with original handbooks, sales literature and workshop manuals. Also in the history is a Classic car newspaper clipping from a previous sale where the actual car was reviewed by the newspaper editors on its condition etc. who at that point suggested it was a well sorted car.
The car has wanted for nothing with recent upgrades including new brake/ clutch master cylinders, new clutch slave cylinder and Flexi hose, new full exhaust system, front drivers wheel bearing, both front driveshafts fully reconditioned including new gators, replacement new Lucas fusebox, dynamo fully recondition including painting correct colour green, brand new old stock Lucas indicator switch, recent new fuel tank.... the car has also been fully serviced including fresh classic car oil, oil filter and oil pressure switch. The car was upgraded to electronic ignition to aid in reliability and smooth running. I must say the car is a joy to drive and gets admiring glances, waves and comments wherever I go in it. With very little outlay and a weekend of detailing I'm sure you would be winning some trophies at classic car meets.
