A cracking little moggie, fresh from long term dry storage. She has now been recommissioned and is ready to hit the road once more. Bought in 2018, the most recent owner and his wife, both in thier 80's had good intentions of using it for weekend runs, picnics etc, however a few health issues meant the car has been barely used in the last 8 years.Driving well, she starts on the button, runs quietly and keeps up with modern traffic, cruising effortlessly at 50 mph.The gearbox is smooth, with none of the ‘crunching’ often associated with the Moggie. The steering is light and precise, the brakes and handbrake are effective, and everything seems to work as it should.The bodywork is bright and shiny, the tyres are in good condition, as are the steel wheels and chrome hubcaps.Inside, underneath, below the boot and bonnet are all good with nothing I can see that would require attention other than ongoing routine maintainence.The car is in Northern Ireland and has a standard UK V5 registration; it’s usable anywhere in the UK without re-registration or import duties.The Morris Minor needs no introduction, being one of the most popular and recognisable classic cars on the road.However for those who may not know the story behind this British motoring icon, it was first introduced in 1948 and went on to become one of the best selling British cars of all time.Designed by Alec Issigonis, the Minor was loved for its charming looks, practical design and easy going driving style.
