The Peugeot 203 is the first post-war model of the French car brand Peugeot. Between 1949, the end of production of the 202, and 1954, the launch of the 403, it was the only Peugeot model.
It was a remarkably modern, streamlined car, the first Peugeot with unibody construction. The 1290 cc 4 cylinder « super-carré » engine that delivered 42 hp was also newly designed. In a later version it was increased to 45 hp, with which a top speed of 120 km/h could be reached. Other innovations were the steering knuckle, synchromesh four-speed gearbox and independent suspension.
The Peugeot 203 offered here is from the year 1952, the car has been extensively restored in the past. Lots of documentation present with the car.

De Peugeot 203 is het eerste naoorlogse model van het Franse automerk Peugeot. Tussen 1949, productie-einde van de 202, en 1954, lancering van de 403, was het het enige model van Peugeot.
Het was een opvallend moderne, gestroomlijnde auto, de eerste Peugeot met zelfdragende constructie. Ook de 1290 cc 4 cilinder « super-carré » motor die 42 pk leverde was nieuw ontworpen. In een latere versie opgevoerd tot 45 pk, waarmee een topsnelheid van 120 km/u kon worden gehaald. Andere vernieuwingen waren de fuseebesturing, de gesynchroniseerde vierversnellingsbak en onafhankelijke wielophanging.

Es war ein bemerkenswert modernes, stromlinienförmiges Auto, der erste Peugeot in Unibody-Bauweise. Der 4-Zylinder-„Supercarré“-Motor mit 1290 ccm Hubraum und 42 PS wurde ebenfalls neu konstruiert. In einer späteren Version wurde sie auf 45 PS gesteigert, womit eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 120 km/h erreicht werden konnte. Weitere Innovationen waren der Achsschenkel, das synchronisierte Vierganggetriebe und die Einzelradaufhängung.

La Peugeot 203 est le premier modèle d'après-guerre de la marque automobile française Peugeot. Entre 1949, fin de production de la 202, et 1954, lancement de la 403, c'est le seul modèle Peugeot.
C'était une voiture remarquablement moderne et profilée, la première Peugeot avec une construction monocoque. Le moteur 4 cylindres « super-carré » de 1290 cm3 qui délivrait 42 ch a également été repensé. Dans une version ultérieure, elle a été portée à 45 ch, avec laquelle une vitesse de pointe de 120 km/h pouvait être atteinte. D'autres innovations étaient la fusée d'essieu, la boîte de vitesses synchronisée à quatre vitesses et la suspension indépendante.
