This is a fourth-generation 1968 Pontiac Bonneville (from the last year of production of this generation) unique in several respects. First of all, apart from the exterior paint that was refreshed many years ago, the car is still in its original condition and has only traveled 50,380 miles so far. The exterior colors have been kept consistent with the original. The bodywork is beautifully simple and brilliantly maintains lines that can only be dreamed of today. The car simply flows along the road and you can feel its freshness, lightness and the quality typical of the originals. The interior of the Pontiac is a real time capsule and is living proof that no reconstruction will ever come close to the original produced by the factory in the 1960s. these and without any savings. Bonneville is the top of the line for Pontiac, both in terms of equipment and quality of materials, top of the line! All the elements are soft and vivid in color, the seats are basically like in a several-year-old car, and the comfort of traveling in them is unbelievable. The headliner is original, as are the tinted windows. Nothing creaks here and the fit of the elements proves the mileage is correct and that the car has most likely never been disassembled - a rarity and a treasure. Anyone who has had the opportunity to see tired examples will easily appreciate the quality of workmanship and maintenance of this car. Electric windows, power steering and air conditioning complete the image of luxury straight from 1968. Pontiac has its original radio, which is probably not connected and I cannot say whether it works. The sound of the engine is basically enough to make you happy! The car has a body without a B-pillar, which makes it one of the largest open coupes from this period of American motoring. The size of the body is simply monstrous and with a length of over 5.6 m and a width of over 2 m it makes a huge impression. And despite such large dimensions, driving and controlling this car is pleasant and comfortable. The suspension works flawlessly and allows for a comfortable journey even with a full complement of passengers. The car is registered for 6 people. All chrome elements are original and in place. The lights do the job and work flawlessly, the car also has a functional high beam switch in the floor. Under the hood there is a V8 engine with a capacity of 6554 cubic centimeters (6.6 L) and a power of 340 HP and you can feel it under your feet without any problems. Although the Pontiac Bonneville is not a sports car, there is plenty of power here and it allows for faster and energetic driving as well as for a slow cruise with the windows down and the low growl of the dual mufflers. The automatic transmission shifts gears smoothly and there are no complaints about its operation. The engine compartment also looks like a book. The trunk does not differ from the rest and is clean and original in its entire size. The tires are in great condition and the power brakes stop the car in place without any problems. To sum up, it can be said that this car had an easy life in good and responsible hands, it is suitable for everyday use and long trips as well as for short trips for coffee, when weather permits. He would certainly be able to cope even in bad conditions, but I just feel sorry for him. Although the car looks wonderful, it has not undergone any detailing - I leave that to the new owner. Finding such an original car today is almost a miracle, both in Europe and the USA, you have to drive it and see it to understand it. It is undoubtedly an excellent investment and a guarantee of great fun. There are no such cars and there will be no more. You simply have to see the Pontiac in person to understand what kind of crap we're dealing with here. No photos will reflect the quality of our item. Finally, it is worth writing that restoring a worn-out item to this condition is basically impossible. It would certainly take several years and probably twice its current price, and it will never be an original. This one is in a condition close to the original, available immediately, registered in Poland with a valid technical inspection and insurance. It's worth thinking about when looking for such a beautiful car.
